Giving Day

UCSC Giving Day 2022

Join us on November 2, 2022 for UC Santa Cruz's seventh Giving Day! Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event to enhance student success. Giving Day raises funds for vital campus resources that help ensure students have access to financial support, secure sources for basic needs, mental health support, opportunities to participate in cutting-edge research, and connections that catalyze their social mobility.

American Indian Resource Center

Help the AIRC raise funds to support Native student's wellness!

We are raising funds to support the holistic and cultural wellness of Native students by giving them opportunities to attend cultural events like powwows and sweats, meet and learn from Indigenous knowledge holders, and help our students meet their basic needs. With your support, you can help one of our most underserved groups on campus, Native American students, not only survive college but thrive in college.

Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center

Donate to the SWANA community at UCSC!

Show your support to the UCSC SWANA Community, with a contribution to the SWANA Spring Community Celebration. Your donation will help cover the cost of a venue, food, and souvenirs! The Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center (AA/PIRC) has been the home to Southwest Asian North African (SWANA) Programs since 2019, when the first SWANA Programs Intern was hired. Since then, we have expanded to include a full-time SWANA Retention Specialist and an additional SWANA Programs Intern.

El Centro: Chicanx Latinx Year End Ceremony (CLYEC)

CLYEC is a community celebration for graduating students and is raising funds for stoles.

The funds raised through Giving Day will cover the cost of the cultural stoles, which graduating students wear with pride to their college commencements and the Chicanx Latinx Year-End Ceremony. Each cultural stole costs $25 per student and every year we have at least 400 students attend CLYEC. Help us reach our goal of $10,000 by donating today!

Lionel Cantú Queer Resource Center

Cheers and Queers for expanding our Clothing Closet to include a Cantu Cosmetic Corner!

We will be fundraising to expand our current clothing closet to include cosmetic and other hygiene products.  The program has provided support for the basic needs of queer and trans students recognizing that access to resources that are safe and inclusive of queer and trans identities are limited both on and off campus.  The closet has been and continues to be a needed source of support as students explore different ways to express their identities by providing an affirming space and reducing financial barriers.
